JVC Professional Products’new DLA-2400ZG projector delivers a 5.1-megapixel-equivalent image via JVC’s proprietary e-shift technology, along with 18,000:1 native contrast ratio, and a minimum of 900 ANSI lumens. It offers two HDMI inputs, as well as RS-232C and LAN connectivity for remote access and control. Its unique 120Hz input interface means reduced image generator (IG) hardware requirements. Ideal for the simulation market, it preserves the native contrast ratio and dynamic range of images, with no restrictions on mounting orientation. Plus, it provides years of operation with reduced maintenance requirements. The Meyer Sound X-400C compact cinema subwoofer features high-peak power output with excellent transient reproduction, extended low-frequency range down to 20Hz, extremely low distortion for exceptional low-frequency clarity, and flat amplitude and phase responses for tonal accuracy in a compact cabinet that can be installed singly or as multiple units. NEC’S NC1100L Digital Cinema projector is a laser-light source projector targeted to exhibitors with small screens or projection booths as well art houses, mobile cinemas, theaters in universities, and public buildings. As part of NEC’s Digital Cinema Projector series, the NC1100L projector delivers 2K DCI-compliant cinema quality, which translates to an image brightness of 14-foot-lambert (using a 1.8 gain screen) on screens up to 36ft./11 meters in DCI color. It is the world’s first digital cinema-compliant projector with laser light source built-in.
