Hitachi Home Electronics (America) Business Group has introduced the CP-X2510 3LCD projector, featuring a brightness of 2,600 lumens and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio.
At 7.9 pounds, the CP-X2510 is easy to install and transport, according to the company. The projector features 16 watts of built-in audio, and a low-noise rating of 29 dB in Eco Mode. A hybrid filter allows for 5,000 hours before replacement. The CP-X2510 also consumes less than 5 watts of power in Saving Mode.
The new projector features a lamp life of 3,000 hours in Standard Mode and 6,000 hours in Eco Mode. It also features Hitachi’s My Buttons functionality, which allows two buttons on the projector to be programmed to execute any projector command, the company says. For security, a Transition Detector requires a password to operate the projector when it is moved from a fixed position.
“As presentation technology continues to evolve, end users are increasingly looking for projectors that offer advanced clarity and ease of use,” said John Glad, product manager of Hitachi Home Electronics America, in a statement. “The CP-X2510 offers these key selling points while also addressing the issues of long lamp life, security, and low power consumption.”
