Home Lighting Control Alliance Launches Website

Dec 20, 2006 9:25 AM

Expanding their outreach via the power of the internet, the Home Lighting Control Alliance (HLCA) announced the launch of their website. The HLCA is a newly formed consortium of lighting control manufacturers, trade organizations and professional integrators who have united to promote the value and benefits of quality lighting control products.

Just like today’s lighting control systems, the HLCA website is fast, flexible, reliable, simple to navigate and easy to use — and it’s upgradeable as well. Despite its simple appearance, homelightingcontrol.org contains lots of useful information on the latest lighting control technology, typical system uses and configurations, FAQ, news and of course links to its members.

There is also a News and Bright Ideas section that features PDF versions of the alliance’s press releases as well as a variety of useful articles from leading publications. To date, the section contains articles from Electronic House, CEPro, Residential Systems, Constructech and Our Place magazines with more to come.

According to Lightolier’s Gary Meshberg, Chair of the Home Lighting Control Alliance, “The alliance members are quite excited at the response to our group as well as the positive interest in lighting control. A website is a natural channel for us to get our message out and make it easy for interested parties to reach us as well. Websites are never truly finished so look for many exciting updates in the weeks and months ahead.”
