Leviton Manufacturing Company (www.leviton.com) has entered into a strategic alliance with A.C.T Lighting (www.actlighting.com) to offer grandMA lighting consoles as part of its lighting control systems offerings. The family of grandMA lighting consoles is manufactured by German manufacturer MA Lighting Technology GmbH. The consoles are available in four versions to suit a range of needs and budgets: the grandMA, grandMA light, grandMA ultra-light, and grandMA micro. The grandMA replay unit operates as a playback controller. When used with the Network Signal Processor, all grandMA products can be expanded both in channel processing and DMX output. All consoles offer a next-generation operating system with versatile, easy-to-use features to control both conventional and automated lighting.
“We are pleased to expand our product offering through our partnership with A.C.T. Lighting to include the line of grandMA lighting consoles in our systems offerings,” says Dave Harrison, vice president and general manager of Leviton’s lighting control division. “This exciting line of products will enable us to provide a comprehensive solution for projects requiring the scale and sophistication of the grandMA line of lighting consoles.”
Service and support for the grandMA products will be provided through joint efforts by A.C.T Lighting and the Leviton technical service group, which will offer seamless customer support for entire systems at a single toll-free number.
“We are excited about working with Leviton and their fine staff,” says Bob Gordon, president and CEO of A.C.T Lighting. “We feel that this arrangement allows us to place the grandMA range of consoles on jobs that benefit Leviton’s customers while providing us with greater market presence.”
