Lucent and Quad sign agreement

Lucent Technologies and Quad International Communications Corporation, abroadband carrier, announce a multi-year agreement under which Lucent willbuild and help maintain QICC’s network. Lucent will supply QICC with its GX550 Smart Core ATM switches, PacketStar access concentrators and LucentDigital Video’s VideoStar MPEG-2 digital video system. QICC will also relyon Lucent’s NetCare services to provide design, installation andmaintenance for QICC’s network.
