Bolly comes to Meyer Sound from AVI-SPL, where he worked closely with acoustical design consultants in systems planning, model design, and testing and measurement. An excellent understanding of a wide range of hardware and software led Bolly to design and specify systems for installations in sports venues, houses of worship, and performing arts centers. He also spent nearly a decade mixing concert, corporate, and theatrical events.

“Meyer Sound is a company with both scientific renown and an excellent reputation for product consistency,” said Bolly in a statement. “I am excited about assisting our customers in creating high-quality sound systems.”

Michael Creason was a Drama Desk nominee and a winner of the Jefferson Awards for both Sound Design and Original Music. With a background and interest in theatrical and live sound technology, his credits include the Broadway productions of Grease, A Chorus Line, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Pajama Game. He also worked on the Las Vegas production of Spamalot as well as several national tours. During his career, Creason worked with sound designers Tony Meola, Brian Ronan, and Tom Clark of Acme Sound Partners, and he provided sound support for Glimmerglass Opera for eight seasons. He also created soundscapes and original music for several regional shows, including the New York Shakespeare Festival.

“My experience on Broadway has given me plenty of opportunities to work with Meyer Sound products and collaborate with top audio professionals who are keen Meyer Sound proponents,” said Creason.

Bolly is based in Baltimore, Md., while Creason works out of the company’s headquarters in Berkeley, Calif.
