Shure unveils its omnidirectional WL50 subminiature lavalier mic, with a weight of 0.34 grams and a diameter of 5.8 mm. It is available in black, beige, and white, has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and comes standard with four equalization caps that can be interchanged as required. A pair of silver-mesh equalization caps provides a 4 dB boost from 8 kHz to 18 kHz, and two gold-mesh caps deliver a 10 dB boost at 12 kHz. Each mic is offered with one of two termination options – a pigtailed (unterminated) cable or a TA4F connector compatible with all Shure wireless transmitters. A magnet mount, swiveling lapel clip, dual tie clip and pin mount are additionally included, as is a pair of foam windscreens.
