The NetMax N8000 from Electro-Voice is a networkable, modular digital audio matrix system that offers six different matrix layouts. The Eagle 100 seamless switcher from FSR includes eight analog video inputs, one standard-definition SDI input (HD-SDI input on the Eagle 100 HD model), and one DVI input. The switcher supports computer resolutions up to 1600×1200, high-definition resolutions up to 1080p, and digital cinema. Mitsubishi has introduced the MDT321S (32-inch), the MDT402S (40-inch, pictured here), and the MDT461S (46-inch) LCD monitors. Targeted for use in meeting rooms, videoconferencing applications, and tiled videowalls, the monitors offer WXGA (1366×768) resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Designed to function as a distributed system processor or standalone device, the SP2060 speaker processor from Yamaha features two XLR analog inputs, an AES/EBU digital input, and six XLR analog outputs. The S-port audio signal transmitter from Flying Mole Electronics supplies DC power to drive amplification to speaker units. The mixers feature two global pre/post-switchable auxiliary buses, XLR-type and 1/4-inch main connectors, and RCA phono connectors for disc and stereo playback inputs and record outputs. The processor supports up to 19 input sources and features a true 19×4 input matrix switcher, which enables any source to be displayed in any or all of the four available onscreen windows. The Phantom (pictured here) is mounted into the framework above the ceiling, and when activated, a trapdoor lowers the projector into the room using an actuator with preset limits. DPA Microphones has introduced the 4090 and 4091 omnidirectional condenser, stand-mounted microphones. Designed for use with 48 V, phantom-powered systems, both models operate with voltages down to a minimum of 5 V without changes in performance, according to the company. The 4090 features a 23 dBA noise floor, 20 mV/Pa sensitivity, and a 134 dB peak SPL. The 4091 offers a 26 dBA noise floor, 6 mV/Pa sensitivity, and a 144 dB speak SPL. Price: N/A (both models).
