NSCA Expo Announces Innovations in Technology Award Finalists

Finalists have been announced in the NSCA Expo Innovations in Technology Awards. Spanning seven product categories, three finalists for each have been chosen out of more than 100 entries by an independent voting committee. During the NSCA Expo March 10-12 in Orlando, attendees will cast their vote for the winning products.

Finalists have been announced in the NSCA Expo Innovations in Technology Awards. Spanning seven product categories, three finalists for each have been chosen out of more than 100 entries by an independent voting committee. During the NSCA Expo March 10-12 in Orlando, attendees will cast their vote for the winning products.

Judged against a standard of excellence and the impact each has had on the advancement of the electronic systems industry, the 2005 finalists in the audio category are: Aviom’s Monitor Mixing System, FiberPlex’s Light Viper 32×8 fiber-optic snake system, and Yamaha’s PM5D digital sound reinforcement console.

Within the business productivity category: D-Tools’ System Integrator 4, Polycom’s Vortex Instant Designer version 2.0, and Sonic Foundry’s Mediasite.

Within the control systems category: Aurora Multimedia’s WACI-NX, Electrosonic Media Networks’ Immediate, and Stardraw.com’s Stardraw Control.

Within the convergence category: Crestron Electronics’ UPX2, Hy-Tek Manufacturing’s Tek Panel 300 Touch, and Tandberg’s Tandberg Border Controller.

Within the security/fire/life safety category: Bosch Security Systems’ Dinion xf day/night camera, DynaPel Systems’ CloseView, and i3DVR International’s i3-SRX48032ARM.

Within the video/display category: AMX’s MAX by AMX, Analog Way’s EventiX, and Electrosonic Media Networks’ HD FrEND.

Within the website category: Hitachi America for www.hitachi.us/digitalmedia and Listen Technologies for www.listentech.com.

Each product will be on display in the Innovations in Technology Awards pavilion (Booth 849) beginning with the opening day of Expo, March 10. Votes will be tallied after 5 p.m. Friday, March 11. Winners will be on display Saturday, March 12 until the Expo closes at 2 p.m.
