NuVision Appoints ProAct Sales & Custom Partners to Represent Metro New York/North New Jersey Territory

NuVision, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based advanced HDTV manufacturer, is proud to announce that it has appointed ProAct Sales & Custom Partners (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) its Metro New York/North New Jersey sales representative and distribution firm. In addition to NuVision’s line of high-performance LCD TVs, ProAct will act as the sales representative for NuVisions’ recently announced LED illuminated 1080p DLP rear projection TV, which is planned to ship prior to CEDIA 2006 in September.
“ProAct shares our ideals that the customer comes first, and in our case that’s the specialty retailer and custom installer,” says Charles H. Boornazian, NuVision vice president, sales. “The ProAct team intimately knows this selective market and its detailed and specific needs, especially in such a demanding territory as New York. Richard Radimer, ProAct president and founder, explained that NuVision’s mission to cater to the needs of the CEDIA custom install channel and high-end A/V specialty retailers is a main reason ProAct wanted to add the NuVision line. He explained that most HDTV vendors have decided to go mass market (such as Best Buy and Circuit City) or national mass distributors, and so NuVision is a solid choice for dealers who are tired of having to deal with such widely over merchandised and underperforming lines.
