Fujinon Opens Canadian Office
With its products already across the United States and Latin America, Fujinon is now focusing on the Canadian market. The company has opened a new sales and support office just outside of Toronto, headed up by industry veteran Stosh Durbacz, who will now serve as Fujinon sales manager, Canada. Fujinon has been selling into the Canadian market for many years, and the company wanted an office there to resolve customer issues quickly. Durbacz most recently spent five-and-a-half years selling professional production equipment for Sony of Canada.
Crestron Grows with New Building
Crestron has expanded its physical space by adding a new 140,000-square-foot building adjacent to the corporate headquarters in Rockleigh, New Jersey. The new building is already being used for warehousing, shipping and receiving, and some manufacturing and will soon be the home of the new Crestron Engineering Lab. Crestron is up to 250,000 square feet of space in Rockleigh and also has a Cresskill facility.
AVAD Offices on the Move
AVAD Northeast/Custom Works A/V Supply has moved to a new Taunton, Massachusetts, facility to accommodate for growth. The 33,000 square-foot AVAD distributor location will give Custom Works A/V Supply added space for its resources. Also, AVAD Southeast/Custom Solutions will expand its Charlotte, North Carolina, location as part of an ongoing effort to provide support to dealers and installers of custom home technology. AVAD Northern California/Select Resources plans to move to a larger facility in Livermore, California, to offer enhanced services to dealers in its field of operation. Finally, AVAD Southeast/Custom Solutions Distributing will launch a branch of operations in Nashville.
