New England Distributor Expands

After almost seven years of operation in a facility on Arrow Drive in Woburn, Massachusetts, Professional Audio Associates, a distributor and manufacturers' representative servicing the custom audio and video market, has expanded into a larger building in a nearby industrial park about ten miles north of Boston. Pro Audio maintains a mix of product that dealers rely on to provide solutions to almost every need, in one place. The new facility houses expanded warehouse space, training rooms, displays, and offices in an 18,000-square-foot Arrow Drive location. It also contains an expanded inside-sales force and space for creative services and communications.

AVI Announces New Florida Location

Audio Visual Innovations (AVI) has relocated its Orlando, Florida-area regional audiovisual systems integration and sales office. The previous location at 658 Douglas Avenue in Altamonte Springs had become too small for the business in the central Florida area. The new location at 995 West Kennedy Boulevard in Orlando boasts 15,000 square feet, with the capacity to add 20 personnel to the location. The new office space incorporates meeting and demonstration facilities, videoconferencing rooms available for customer use, a large mock-up area for prewiring and testing systems, and an open office plan for the 30-plus engineering, programming, and production staff.

Terra Manufacturer Moves

CAMM, manufacturer of Terra loudspeakers, has moved from its original facility in Sabbatus, Maine, to a larger facility in nearby Brunswick that will allow for increased production and inventory.

Elan Opens West Coast Warehouse

Elan Home Systems is getting closer to its West Coast dealers. West Coast dealers can now receive faster shipment of Elan products thanks to Elan's Carlsbad, California-based warehouse. Elan shares the warehouse with other members of the Linear Group, a division of Nortek, which purchased Elan in January 2003. Elan will first stock the warehouse and shipping facility with M Series in-wall and in-ceiling speakers.
