Proudfoot Starts Expansion

The Proudfoot Company — a provider of acoustical correction, noise control, and specialty concrete masonry units — broke ground for its plant expansion project in Monroe, Connecticut. The company's planned expansion of its existing facility will serve dual purposes: uniting its separated manufacturing and administrative spaces and employees under one roof as well as growing the business's manufacturing capabilities. Long-term the company will also have the space and ability to grow all facets of the business as sales increase.

Russound Expands Headquarters

Russound has undergone its second major expansion in the past two years at its Newmarket, New Hampshire, headquarters. To accommodate growth, the latest move was designed to provide further engineering, training, and customer service resources as well as additional warehouse space. Russound contracted for an additional 10,800 square feet of space in an adjacent building that will initially be used for warehousing.
