One World Theatre Goes with Soundcraft

West Austin’s One World Theatre has augmented its sound—as well as its Tuscan-style charm—with a 40-channel Soundcraft Series 2 console. The intimate 300-seat venue uses the console, which is placed in the auditorium’s small balcony, to run FOH and monitor systems for most productions. Kevin Holder, production manager for One World Theatre, said the new console has helped increase vocal presence for a venue that plans to feature diverse acts such as Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Hal Ketchum, and Solas.
