Da-Lite Offers Certified Course
Da-Lite Screen Company was approved as an AIA/CES provider for the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Services. As an AIA/CES provider, Da-Lite now offers a course in projection-screen technology that lets architects earn continuing-education credits required to maintain AIA certification. In the course, the company explores front- and rear-projection screen selection, sizing projection screens according to the audience size and room configuration, and the importance of room layout in an audiovisual display.
Sencore Provides Home-Theater Seminars
Sencore’s four-day Maximizing Home Theater Performance seminars are visiting U.S. cities through July 2003. The seminars emphasize a systems approach to acoustics, imaging calibration, and installation. In addition to classroom and hands-on training, participants will receive certification from the Imaging Science Foundation, the Home Acoustics’ Alliance, and Sencore.
