The NCAC is an international organization that recognizes acoustics professionals and provides opportunities for interaction within the industry and acts as a reference for the public.

Marsh, who had served on the organization's board of directors, was elected president-elect due to his work on the board, most recently as vice-president, membership.

Marsh has over 25 years of experience in the fields of architectural and environmental acoustics as well as design of sound and audio-video systems, including consulting for performing arts facilities, houses of worship, sports facilities, conference and convention centers, major resorts, theme parks, corporate headquarters buildings, and educational facilities of all types.

Lindstrom has over 25 years of experience in the management, design, and installation of sound and communication systems for churches, sports and entertainment venues, theatres, auditoriums, hotels, casinos, racetracks, and educational facilities.

ICIA's board of governors elected Lindstrom chair of the council following general comment from the organization's membership. He also will serve on the board of governors through the end of 2005.

According to the International Communications Industries Association, ICIA is a non-competitive service organization that provides education, exhibitions, and information services to audiovisual professionals.
