Electro-Voice introduces the Dx38, a 24 bit digital sound system processor. Providing 48 bit filter performance, the Dx38 also offers 24 bit A/D-D/A conversion with a dynamic range of more than 115 dB. The 2-in/4-out configuration allows control in two-, three-or four-way loudspeaker applications. Each input has five filters available, which may be configured with parametric, low and high-pass or low- and high-shelving characteristics, plus a master signal delay variable from two to 900 ms. Each output contains adjustable level, polarity and signal delay of 0 ms to 900 ms, plus four filter bands.
