Q. What’s the best way to connect HDTV sources to HDTV displays over long distances (up to 30 feet)?

A. Use an HDMI connector if your gear is equipped with them. DVI provides good connections up to 30 feet with copper cabling, and up to 1500 feet with fiber cabling, depending on single mode verse multi mode. You can go well over 30 feet with good quality component video cabling
