SMART Technologies has announced that three of its distributors, Steljes (UK), Electroboard (Australia) and VSV (Netherlands) – have been designated as SMART Certified Training Centers after successfully completing the SMART Certified Training Center program, which authorizes them to train and certify other trainers within their distribution territory. These new SMART Certified Training Centers are in addition to the two centers that SMART has established in Germany and China. Around the world, an increasing number of organizations are choosing SMART products. The SMART Certified Training Center program gives SMART’s seal of approval to those who complete the program, assuring SMART customers that the centers deliver the highest quality training. It also establishes SMART’s new global standard for training and customer service.

The SMART Certified Training Center program covers the theory, business strategies, materials and logistics involved in setting up and conducting training sessions. The program also provides tactical instruction on training and certification of trainers in a region. The SMART Certified Training Center program builds upon the SMART Master’s Training Certification program, which participants must have already completed.

“Training is a key element of our business strategy,” says Judith White, managing director, Steljes training. “We are committed to offering our customers the highest standards of training support. Our new SMART Certified Training Center credentials demonstrate our commitment to training and provide us with the ability to train and certify other trainers across the UK to achieve SMART’s standards.”

“Customers are more likely to integrate new technology into their teaching, training and work environments if they are provided with full customer support and comprehensive training,” says Nancy Knowlton, SMART’s president and co-CEO. “Our two international offices along with Steljes, Electroboard and VSV have taken significant steps forward in becoming great training organizations and meeting customer needs.”
