The Deluxe PowerPro PA-750 system multiuse tool for schools, worship houses, and fitness centers functions as an all-in-one unit on wheels with a built-in variable speed cassette recorder and CD player. Covid S-video (CVA9108) and composite (CVA9118) distribution amplifiers with audio
The CVA9108 and the CVA9118 are two new models of Covid’s line of distribution amplifiers for a wide range of A/V applications. Both models offer 150 MHz (–3 dB) video bandwidth. The CVA9108 is a one-input-to-eight-output distribution composite video with female BNC connectors. The CVA9118 is its S-video version with 4-pin DIN connectors. Both models feature line-level, balanced or unbalanced, stereo input and outputs on a five-position terminal block connector.

The version 3.0 release of Drag Net software offers several additions and enhancements to Rane’s drag-and-drop-configurable digital signal-processing (DSP)–based products like the new RPM 2. The new version includes the Perfect-Q graphic equalizer, ambient noise compensator, and deluxe mono or stereo sidechain compressor. The Perfect-Q uses Rane’s patent-pending DSP technology to provide accurate response and eliminate the adjacent band interaction inherent in traditional graphic equalizers. The ambient noise compensator automatically adjusts program level to match changes in background noise. The sidechain compressor smooths out variations in program material and includes a soft knee setting to further tailor dynamic response.

Rane Corp. RPM 2 programmable multiprocessor
The RPM 2 programmable multiprocessor is the latest addition to Rane’s Drag Net family of 100-percent drag-and-drop-configurable digital signal-processing–based products. It is designed for any application having a low channel count but requiring full flexibility in audio signal processing. Occupying only a single rackspace, the RPM 2 features two analog line-level inputs and two balanced line-level outputs, all using Euro-style (Phoenix) barrier connectors. Eight logic inputs permit remote preset recall or “pot-on-a-wall” volume adjustment. Standard 10Base-T Ethernet is used for configuration and control, allowing for centralized communication with multiple devices distributed throughout a large installation.
