SymNet Training Qualifies for CTS

Symetrix announced that the company’s SymNet training programs have been added to the InfoComm International CTS Renewal Unit Program. Renewal units (RUs) may now be earned through successful completion of SymNet training programs and used to maintain CTS, CTS-D, and/or CTS-I credentials.

Symetrix announced that the company’s SymNet training programs have been added to the InfoComm International CTS Renewal Unit Program. Renewal units (RUs) may now be earned through successful completion of SymNet training programs and used to maintain Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), CTS-Design (CTS-D), and/or CTS-Installation (CTS-I) credentials.

According to the company, the Symetrix SymNet Onsite Program has been approved for four RUs across all CTS certifications.The Symetrix SymNet Webinar Program has been approved for two RUs across all CTS certifications.

The Symetrix Syminar Online Training for SymNet provides an introduction to the fundamental skills and concepts behind SymNet, says the company. Each course may be completed on an individual’s own schedule and at his or her own pace. Individuals may also return at any time after completing the courses for a refresher and to search by keyword to find a specific topic within each course.

The InfoComm CTS designations are internationally recognized AV certifications. By requiring continuing education and periodic renewal, all three certifications are American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited under the International Standard ISO/IEC 17024 General Requirements for bodies Operating Certification Schemes of Persons program.
