Tim Leahy Named Phoenix Gold Director of Marketing

PHX AP Acquisitions (dba Phoenix Gold) is proud to announce that it has appointed 30-year industry veteran Tim Leahy director of marketing. Leahy, who has
been with Phoenix Gold for the past 14 years, will be responsible for the company’s home and car divisions’ short- and long-term marketing strategies.
“Phoenix Gold’s new ownership has set forth a new commitment for success,” Leahy says. “While working closely with our executive team, we will develop a focused and concise strategic plan for home, car, and accessory products while continuing to refine the product development for both our home and 12V accessories lines.”
Leahy started with Phoenix Gold in 1993 as national sales manager for PG’s car and home products. In 2001, he was named director of sales and marketing for home and pro products, which included PG Innovative Home, AudioSource, and Carver Professional. In 2004, Leahy added product development for both car and home accessories to his PG resume.
“Tim, more than anyone, knows Phoenix Gold’s and AudioSource’s product lines and what it takes to market them,” explains Tom O’Mara, Phoenix Gold president. “With the new and exciting direction our ownership and management team is taking Phoenix Gold, we are confident that Tim’s experience and product knowledge will spearhead and lead our marketing efforts.”
