TV One‘s new C2-7300 multiformat, dual-channel HD video processor follows the award-winning C2-7200 introduced at NAB 2005 and adds full HD-SDI multi-channel audio processing. The new C2-7300 was created solely to address the evolving needs of the broadcast market and supports virtually every bidirectional analog-to-HDTV conversion imaginable, all within a compact 1RU enclosure.

The C2-7300 provides 32 channels of stereo audio processing, which allows for simultaneous embedding of eight stereo audio channels for each of the two HD-SDI inputs and extraction of eight stereo audio channels from each of the two independent HD-SDI outputs. These audio channels are available in the AES3-id format on the rear panel of the unit via a pair of HD-44 connectors. An optional A2-7301 conversion unit is available to convert from AES3-id to standard AES-3 on XLR connectors. Other conversion units will be introduced to accommodate other audio formats, such as low impedance balanced analog. All delay compensation and balancing is controlled within the C2-7300. Thanks to highly flexible internal audio routing, the C2-7300’s 32 stereo channels (16 in and 16 out) are not restricted for use within the HD-SDI signal, but can be assigned to any of the other composite, component, S-Video, analog RGBHV, or DVI inputs and outputs.

The C2-7300 adds all this audio processing power to the video processing capability found in TV One’s C2-7200. Beyond its versatility in converting between analog and HD-SDI, the C2-7300 additionally houses the power of many other components ranging from a high-definition video scaler and multiformat seamless switcher to a dual-window picture-in-a-picture device, chroma/luma keyer, aspect ratio converter, logo inserter, and much more.

See the debut of the C2-7300 at TV One’s NAB Booth, number C347.

The suggested retail price for the C2-7300 is $15,500.
