Digital Acoustics' TalkMaster Enterprise Edition (EE) communication management software allows users to manage multiple intercom and paging endpoints from multiple sites and consoles, regardless of geography. Intercom call queue rules establish site-specific call response hierarchies to ensure that all calls are answered in a timely manner. The software also provides flexibility in addressing the special needs of multi-site monitoring, corrections, high-security, and other complex installations. It also allows users to tailor the system to address changing facility layouts.

Skylink's AAA+ (Alarm, Alert, Automation, and Communicator) wireless alarm system provides remote monitoring capability for traveling homeowners, who can dial into the control panel to monitor the sensors placed on doors and windows and turn a wireless device on or off with the push of a button. When sensors detect an intrusion, a voice dialer can be set to either call the homeowner immediately and/or dial a monitoring station, which will alert the homeowner as to which sensor has been triggered. Up to five callback numbers can be programmed into the system.

JVC's LM-17GU 17in. and LM-15GU 15in. monitors are housed in sturdy metal cabinets that can be mounted in standard EIA racks or on the wall using four VESA-standard mounting holes on the rear panel. The LCDs offer resolutions of 1280×1024 and 1024×768, respectively, and selectable aspect ratios of 4:3 or 16:9 that can be chosen by way of an onscreen menu or an external remote control connector. They also feature universal AC inputs, eliminating the need for adapters. The LCDs consume 60 percent less power than equivalent CRT monitors.

Infinova offers the SuperDome series V1700 indoor and outdoor analog PTZ dome cameras, which now include Up-the-Coax PTZ control data as a standard selectable protocol. The cameras are fully compatible with Coaxitron-type controllers and transmit both video and PTZ control data over coaxial cable. This can produce significant cost savings, particularly in new installations or when fixed cameras are replaced with PTZ cameras. Additional twisted-pair wire to carry the PTZ control data is not required.
