PROJECTOR

The Hitachi CP-X450 projector offers 3500 lumens of brightness, and it weighs just 7.7lbs. Striving for less-frequent maintenance, it features a filter that is located on the side, with the lamp door on top, meaning less time spent on replacement when the projector is ceiling-mounted. Additionally, the new hybrid filter does not need to be replaced for 2,000 hours. Addressing the demand for advanced security, the CP-X450 features a transition detector, which requires a password to operate the projector when it is moved from a fixed position, plus PIN Lock and MyScreen Lock functions.

PROJECTORS

The Epson PowerLite 83+ and 822+ are designed specifically for the education environment, and they are built specifically for large rooms or lecture halls. The projectors feature 2200 and 2600 (ISO 21118 standard) lumens, respectively; XGA resolution; a built-in closed-captioning decoder; and wired LAN connectivity for monitoring and control — at just 6.4lbs. In addition, both projectors are equipped with an internal 10W loudspeaker to accommodate more demanding audio needs in classrooms. The PowerLite 83+ replaces the PowerLite 83c, a classroom-tested projector that was one of the top-selling education models of last year.
