Console manufacturers Amek, DAR, and Soundcraft have joined forces in the United Kingdom.

Adrian Curtis, sales director for Soundcraft, will assume responsibility for sales of Amek and DAR with his team of Jon Ridel (Middle East and Asia), Trevor Coley (United Kingdom and Ireland), and Karl Chapman (Europe). David Neal will handle the new group’s marketing duties, and Inder Biant will serve as product specialist. Additional marketing and product specialists are slated to join the group — which is yet to be named — as operations expand.

Current Amek and DAR products will be manufactured and produced in the Soundcraft and BSS Audio facilities located in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, England. In the United States, Amek has already shared a distribution facility (HPNA) with Soundcraft and BSS Audio for several years. Amek has recently added the PurePath DMCL processor, and DAR has unveiled the Trigger play-out system.
