The monitor, designed for both professional use and consumers, features an affordable price and a 16:10 aspect ratio for viewing desktop publishing applications that require a dual-screen display. It can also be used as an expanded desktop display for notebook users and to view multimedia applications and Windows Vista features. Other capabilities include a 2-millisecond response time, an HDMI input, DVD viewing and videoconferencing, built-in loudspeakers, and a 90-degree swivel function. The picture appears with 1920×1200 resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 250-nit brightness, and 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles.
