WireTracks Becomes Victim of Nigerian 419 Scam

Currently, a person or a group of people is attempting to make purchases over the Internet using counterfeit WireTracks checks. They are then asking the victim to send them change or the difference between what they purchased and the amount on the counterfeit check. This is a classic Internet scam. For more information, google “nigerian 419.”

If you receive a check from WireTracks that you were not expecting, do no cash it and, by all means, do not send them anything of value.
