Wisdom Audio Moves to Larger Facility

Wisdom Audio, a manufacturer of high-performance planar-hybrid loudspeaker systems since 1996, announced that it has recently moved into a new facility that will serve as its new base of operations. Wisdom’s new, larger headquarters will be located near its previous location in Carson City, Nev.

“During the past year, Wisdom has undergone a series of changes, including additional engineering and development of new products while expanding our staff, which has made it necessary for us to relocate into a larger facility to accommodate all of these positive transitions,” explains Tom Bohlender, Wisdom Audio founder and CEO. “With the development of our new series of in-wall and on-wall speakers, this move was necessary, in part, to sustain our continued R&D program.”

According to Dave Michno, Wisdom’s recently appointed director of operations, “Our expansion into this new facility allows for the hiring of additional employees to support all of Wisdom’s new product R&D, design, customer service, and sales and marketing efforts. We now have more dedicated manufacturing areas, a clean room, and more space due to product platforms dictated by the new in-wall systems and its CI applications.” Michno comes to Wisdom with 13 years experience in the design and manufacturing of planar magnetic transducers, including prior employment at Bohlender/Graebener (BG Corporation), the company co-founded by Tom Bohlender prior to his founding Wisdom Audio, as we all as American Technology Corporation.
