Dolby House is Dolby’s first-ever experiential takeover at SXSW

Attendees will be able to enjoy eight installations that highlight Dolby's contributions across sound and video

Dolby is hosting their first-ever experiential takeover, Dolby House, at this year’s SXSW in Austin, Texas. Dolby House is free to the public as well as SXSW attendees, and features eight installations that highlight Dolby’s contributions across industries including music, film, gaming, sports, and podcasting. Also featured are over 20 panels and industry meetups.

The installations at Dolby House will alllow attendees to experience Dolby Vision HDR, immersive audio, and even Dolby Atmos inside a Mercedez-Benz Maybach S-Class sedan. Additionally, attendees are able to get a first listen to the Sonos Era 300 featuring Dolby Atmos.

Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Dolby Laboratories Todd Pendleton remarks, “At Dolby House, guests will experience how Dolby innovations like Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, and the Dolby.io developer platform transform ordinary experiences to extraordinary ones. Like SXSW, Dolby sits at the convergence of entertainment, music, technology, and culture. We invite the city of Austin to come experience what the future of entertainment looks like in Dolby.”

Dolby House also offers free food and drink, as well as daily food truck appearances. Dolby House runs from March 10 through March 19.
