This partnership furthers Dolby’s expansion into the auto industry, having already made Atmos available in cars by several other manufacturers such as Cadillac, Mercedes, Lucid, and Lotus. Drivers and passengers will be able to play tracks in Dolby Atmos both through the cars’ multimedia interface, as well as integrated apps such as Amazon Music, Audible, and Tidal.

Beginning in July, Dolby Atmos will be coming to the following models:

  • Audi Q7
  • Audi Q8
  • Audi A8
