Just ahead of Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe May opening, the park’s central Chronos tower is going on tour to give four cities a sneak preview of what they can expect to see at Epic Universe’s five new worlds. Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, and Chicago will host a 30-foot replica of the Chronos tower–the landmark that serves as the entrance point to the new park.
Universal says that the tour will invite guests to get up close and personal with the tower’s “portal”– a giant, circular videowall that will display “action-packed” sequences from the upcoming park. The portal will serve a dual purpose, functioning as part of a nightly music and light show. Guests that visit the Chronos tower will also have the chance to enter a sweepstakes to win a trip to the Universal Orlando resort to experience Epic Universe.
