Last week’s CES saw the debut of all kinds of wacky gadgets and new approaches to lighting, audio, and video. One interesting standout is LG’s PF600U projector that looks to address all three of these fields. The projector has the form-factor of a free-standing lamp, and indeed functions as an LED mood lamp while also housing a UST projector that offers 1080p visuals at a brightness of up to 300 ANSI lumens. The PF600U can project at any size between 30 – 120 inches at a 1.2:1 aspect ratio, streaming content via built-in LG webOS.

When not being used as a projector, the PF600U can be used to offer mood lightning while listening to music through its built-in stereo Bluetooth speakers with passive radiators, which LG claims offer “rich and immersive sound.” Other features of the PF600U include a head that can tilt up to 110-degrees, as well as an auto screen adjustment function for convenience. As of yet, no pricing or availability details have been revealed, but we will keep you posted.
