Logitech and iFixit partner up for self-repair program

Program begins this summer in the US for MX Anywhere and MX Master mouse.

Logitech has joined the growing ranks of electronics companies with self-repair programs, as the manufacturer and iFixit have announced a partnership that will allow customers to take repairs into their own hands. The program, which begins this summer in the US, will have iFixit supply spare parts as well as develop guides for DIY repair on Logitech products. The first products to be covered by the program will be the Logitech MX Anywhere and MX Master mouse.

The program will allow customers to buy authentic Logitech parts individually, or in repair kits that include needed tools and a precision screwdriver set. Prices have not yet been announced.
