NeoBlade claims to be the world’s most compact ultrasonic cutter

The NeoBlade pulsates 40,000 times per second

Hong Kong-based Hozo Design has spent the last several years releasing gadgets, from measurement tools and levels to smart panels. Now, the company has its sights set on an ultrasonic cutter designed with wireless convenience in mind. Designed to cut through a range of materials for hobbyists, crafting, home repair, or small projects, the NeoBlade is equipped with a blade that pulsates 40,000 times per second. Several blade attachments are included, including a chisel carver and a curved blade, which can be switched out via hidden tools integrated into the NeoBlade’s cap.

Hozo Design says that the NeoBlade automatically adjusts its power output based on the material being cut through, with a maximum power of 40W for dealing with thicker materials. The cutter an be charged via USB, though a turbo-charging dock is also available to purchase as part of a bundle deal. The dock features two battery slots, and is claimed to deliver a full charge in 30 minutes.

The NeoBlade is currently available for preorder for $99, or $149 for the dock bundle. Shipping is currently slated to begin in August.
