Dolby Vision 2 has slowly begun its rollout into next-gen TVs, bringing with it a new suite of visual optimization features for consumers. Philips has just unveiled its 2026 OLED TV lineup, and the entire series functions as the debut of Dolby Vision 2. The company was the first to announce that it would support Dolby Vision 2 in a joint announcement with Dolby in January.
Out of the new lineup, Philips claims that its OLED811 model features twice the peak brightness of other panels, while the OLED951 and OLED911 models utilize the company’s new Tandem WOLED panels.
So far, Philips is the only manufacturer to announce support for both Dolby Vision 2 and Dolby Vision 2 MAX for OLED models, giving the company an advantageous market presence when compared to competitors such as Samsung and LG.
