Portrait Displays’ new colorimeter is accurate at up to 5000 nits of brightness

The C6 HDR5000 is launching with a rebate program for 50% off with trade-in of older model

Portrait Displays has announced that its flagship C6 HDR2000 colorimeter is being replaced with the launch of the new C6 HDR5000, designed for use with the company’s Calman software. Portrait Displays is claiming that the C6 HDR5000 allows for accuracy up to a brightness of 5000 nits for the first time. This is especially notable as new displays continue to trend upwards in brightness, owing to new advancements like tandem OLED panel stacks.

The C6 HDR5000 delivers accuracy, stability, and performance for the most demanding calibration tasks.”

The C6 HDR5000 is available now, launching at a retail price of $795. However, Portrait Displays is running a limited-time rebate offer for 50% off if you trade in a C6HDR2000 at your time of purchase.
