WATCH: Projection mapping show at 1,400-year-old Buddhist temple

ASAKUSA CULTURE & LIGHTS 2025 comes to the ancient Sensoji Temple

Japanese digital creative company Hitohata has chosen Tokyo’s Sensoji Temple as the latest venue for its nighttime projection mapping show. ASAKUSA CULTURE & LIGHTS 2025 is currently running from December 3rd through December at 7th, and highlights the temple’s 1,400-year history and cultural impact. The show is projection mapped onto the temple’s Hozo-mon Gate, Five-storied Pagoda, and the Niten-mon Gate, which is classified as an Important Cultural Property in Japan.
