Samsung Electronics has announced the global launch of its EM32DX model Color E-Paper display. As 32-inch E-Paper display, Samsung claims the EM32DX is more energy-efficient than comparable displays, with ultra-lower power consumption and a lightweight design. The company positions its E-Paper displays as a more sustainable digital signage solution for businesses.
The new display operates at 0.00W (per standards, an average power below 0.005W is indicated as 0.00W) when displaying static content. With a fully charged integrated battery, users have the ability to install and use Color E-Paper freely without being connected to a power source. The displays itself features a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, equipped with what Samsung calls its advanced color imaging algorithm for color accuracy.
The EM32DX weighs just over 5 lbs, supports landscape and portrait orientation, and has VESA mount compatibility. For connectivity, the display supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, as well as featuring two USB-C ports. 8GB of onboard storage comes standard.
