Samsung launches new line of home Wi-Fi speakers

The Music Studio line can be used solo or as part of a multi-channel speaker setup

Samsung has launched two new home speakers in the form of the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. Featuring minimalist styling, the Music Studio range supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity while utilizing AI processing to enhance bass performance and simplify setup. Specifically, a feature Samsung calls SpaceFit Sound Pro allows each speaker’s audio to be customized to the dimensions of the room.

The Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 are 2.1- and 3.1-channel speakers, respectively, and can be used independently or as part of a larger speaker system. The 5 utilizes Samsung’s waveguide technology to distribute sound evenly, while the 7 uses Pattern Control to both direct sound and minimize distortion. The 7 also features wired and wireless support for Dolby Atmos.

Users can utilize Samsung’s Q-Symphony technology to pair the Music Studio series with up to five Samsung audio devices. Q-Symphony can also automatically adjust sound based on where the speakers are placed in the room in relation to each other, optimizing sound to the environment. Both speakers also support Alexa, Chromecast, AirPlay, and Bixby, and feature an optical input, while the Music Studio 7 also includes an HDMI eARC port.

The Samsung Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 are available now for $299.99 and $499.99, respectively.
