TCL has joined the likes of Samsung, Hisense, and LG by introducing its first displays using RGB LED technology. This new panel type utilizes ultra-fine, individually controlled red, green and blue micro RGB LEDs arrayed in a grid, providing higher color accuracy and greater contrast.

TCL unveiled its first two RGB LED models at an event in China last week, along with its new flagship X11L, which does not use the technology. The company’s first RGB LED TVs, called the Q10M Ultra and Q9M, are launching in China, with an updated on US availability planned for CES 2026.
The more affordable model, the Q9M, is available only in a 65″ option, and features 16848 dimming zones, says TCL. The Q10M Ultra will be available in 115″, 98″, and 85″ options, and can reportedly deliver up to 9,000 nits peak brightness with 16,848 dimming zones.
