Universal’s Epic Universe to replace one of its original attractions

The Cosmos Fountain has been replaced with a new nighttime spectacular

It’s been just over a year since Universal’s Epic Universe opened, and the park has announced that one of its attractions has been replaced. The Cosmos Fountain, a central attraction to the Celestial Park area, has been transformed into something bigger.

The fountain, which held synchronized water, lighting, and music, finished its final day of operation on July 6th. The park has now debuted Universal Celestial Goodnight, a nighttime spectacular that succeeds the Cosmos Fountain’s 15-minute show with a nightly presentation of its own.

In addition to lights and music, Universal Celestial Goodnight features fireworks each night before the park closes. The show features nearly 600 light fixtures synchronized with music, while taking advantage of Celestial Parks nearly seven million embedded LED lights.
