Chinese robotics company MirrorMe Technology has unveiled what it claims is the fastest-running humanoid robot to date in Bolt, a full-size humanoid that can run up to of 10 meters per second (about 22mph). According to MirrorMe, Bolt is the first robot of its kind to achieve such speeds outside of lab testing.
Standing 5.7 feet tall and weighing 165 pounds, Bolt reflects MirrorMe Technology’s vision of the humanoid robot’s “ideal form,” combining human-like proportions with performance-focused engineering.
Bolt stands 5.7 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds, with newly-designed joints. Its power system is designed to “replicate natural human movement” at high speeds, reports CNEVPost.
