Ahead of the May 22 release of The Mandalorian and Grogu in theaters, Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) has taken over Times Square in the form of multiple large format digital billboards. In the installation, Grogu sits in the Marriot Marquis’ exterior screens and uses The Force to levitate a large piece of popcorn across Times Square, passing over the street so he can get his little green hands on it. Disney hasn’t publicly shared the technology behind the impressive stunt, but it has successfully been drumming up media attention before the film’s release.
