Wyze has announced its first 4K camera, the Cam Pan v4. As the name might suggest, the new camera is a pan-tilt camera designed for home security applications, and features a new smart chip that enables AI-powered object tracking.

The Cam Pan v4’s 360-degree pan and 180-degree tilt features can be programmed within the Wyze app, and an IP65 rating makes it possible set up both outdoors and indoors. Night vision is in full color, and the camera offers a broad FOV both day and night. Wyze’s new offering features an integrated siren and motion-activated spotlight, and the company claims it has upgraded audio compared to previous offerings.
The Cam Pan v4 supports smart home integration with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT and Wyze Automations, and up to 512Gb of local storage can be utilized via MicroSDXC cards. Wyze’s new camera is available now for $40.
