Images had to be accurate and high resolution, so a Magenta Research Infinea UTP distribution system, plus Extron switch and scaling equipment, were installed to ensure the DVI-D signals were sharp. One challenge? Because PCs at the lectern and in the lanes had various graphics cards, extended display identification data (EDID) wasn’t always passed reliably. Quick fix: Gefen’s DVI Detective Plus.
