Britton will be expected to manage daily operations, schedule projects, analyze sales and performance data, and lead one of the company’s largest teams.

AV communications integrator AVI-SPL has announced the promotion of Patrick Britton to general manager for systems integration in AVI-SPL’s Washington, D.C., office. Britton will be expected to manage daily operations, schedule projects, analyze sales and performance data, and lead one of the company’s largest teams.

“I am honored to be given this opportunity. I look forward to working with the great team in Washington, D.C., and contributing to the continued success of AVI-SPL,” Britton said in a statement.

Britton began his AV career in 1996, and joined AVI-SPL legacy company Audio Visual Innovations (AVI) in 2006. At AVI-SPL he was named to the company’s Chairman’s Circle in 2007. Britton is also CTS-D certified and is a member of the InfoComm Professional Education and Training Committee (PETC). The promotion to general manager marks his second promotion in three years with the company.

“Patrick has proven over the several years he has been with the company to excel in every position he has held,” said Chris Bianchet, AVI-SPL senior vice president, integration, in a statement. “He has shown that he can lead a group and we are glad to have him running one of our largest offices.”
