AVTEQ has recently added a formal credenza to its line of conferencing furniture. Unlike the company’s mobile steel carts, the new credenza can be customized to coordinate with traditional conference room décor, according to company officials.

The credenza supports dual plasma or LCD screens up to 70 inches each or a single display up to 103 inches. According to the company, the integrated universal screen mount system is appealing because it eliminates the needs to mount and align large flat-panels to a conference room wall. Other features of the credenza include a sliding, rotating 12RU rack from Middle Atlantic and an integrated adjustable videoconferencing camera platform.

“Our goal was to design this piece to be fully customizable inside and out, so that the customer can make it exactly what they want it to be,” said Kelly O’Donnell, president of AVTEQ, in a statement.

Each cabinet can be equipped with multiple rack systems, a refrigerator, shelving, or other accessories. The exterior is available in various colors of oak veneer or can be color-matched to existing conference room furniture. Customers also have the option to order only the credenza’s steel frame and accompanying CAD drawings, if they’d prefer to have a local millworker cut and custom-match the exterior to existing conference room woodwork.
