Vaddio is shipping its Squiggle Video Whiteboard Kit, which can be installed alongside a regular whiteboard to convert notes into an HD or SD video signal. Because no PC is required, the video signal can be connected to a videoconferencing or video-distribution system. Data can also be captured and stored as a JPEG image on a USB drive. From the kit’s portable EZTub, which attaches to the wall, the Squiggle runs power and data over a Cat-5 cable up to 100 feet to the Video Whiteboard Quick-Connect Interface.
