Sender and receiver units are fully HDCP-compliant, and because of the system’s high transmission speeds (up to 480 Mbps), there are no delays or signal losses. UWB is suited ideally for transmitting very-high-bandwidth data between devices within short range at very high speeds while consuming little power, so it’s perfect for small digital-signage applications or residential installations. And its wireless technology will not be affected by the impending DTV transition and bandwidth allocation issue.
